Job Title: Senior Oracle Financials Consultant

About the Role:

This role is for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles, as well as hands-on experience with Oracle EBS modules.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBS (SME) Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA).
• Possess hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, with strong knowledge of Oracle Financials.
• Configure Oracle EBS Modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
• Participate in Oracle EBS to Cloud migration or upgrade initiatives.
• Drive issue resolution and root cause analysis across P2P and O2C business cycles.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application issues, working with clients, other IT departments, and suppliers as appropriate.
• Work autonomously to recreate problems and identify necessary fixes using various software tools and resources.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, providing Tier-3 functional support when required.
• Support production, upgrades, changes, and user support via on-call rotation.
• Support key business processes/activities including month-end and year-end support activities to Business users.
• Partner with business and technology managers to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents.
• Mapped business requirements, gap analysis, and preparation of Functional/Technical Design documents.
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks, consistently following through on details while driving innovation and anticipating/preventing problems.
• Ensure data integrity and reconciliation between upstream and downstream systems.
• Utilize past experience to implement innovative approaches to improve business processes and system performance.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of functional consulting experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Financials and Accounting Hub (FAH).
• Supporting experience for revenue recognition process, billing process, including generating invoices, resolving billing/revenue management issues, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
• Proficient in end-to-end business cycles, including P2P and O2C Cycle.
• Skilled in preparing BR100, MD50, TE40, and functional test scripts.
• Possess technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Standard and Custom interfaces.
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing support.
• Good experience of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Hands-on experience with integration tools and middleware (preferred).
• Experience with Oracle 12.2 Upgrades.
• Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones.
• Ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams.
• Highly self-motivated with strong organizational skills, outstanding analytical skills, and polished facilitation skills, stakeholder management.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with proven success in resolving issues and improving business processes.
• Exposure to robotic process automation, natural language processing, data analytics (not essential).
