Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Debt Funding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in raising debt funds and experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the process of securing debt capital from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with lenders, financial institutions, rating agencies, and investors to secure funding.
  • Structure debt transactions, negotiate loan terms, and ensure optimal funding costs.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC regulations and maintain compliance with lending frameworks.
  • Develop strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management.
  • Assess funding risks and mitigate exposure by working closely with other teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in raising debt funds from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • A strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players.
  • Prior experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks is essential.
  • Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines.
  • A solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
