Release Strategist

Overview:

• Develop and implement comprehensive release strategies that drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and preparedness for releases.
• Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks or issues impacting release timelines or quality.
• Ensure change management processes are followed, documented, and communicated effectively.
• Coordinate cloud deployments (e.g., AWS), ensuring compliance with relevant security and operational policies.
• Champion continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices; drive automation to improve release reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor release progress, provide regular updates, and track performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Lead issue resolution during release phases, minimizing disruption to operations.
• Manage the organization's release calendar, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee validated changes into main code branches, working closely with development and QA teams.
• Present planned changes in meetings and secure approvals as required across regions.
• Organize Go/No-Go meetings with stakeholders to assess readiness before deployment.
• Monitor post-release performance, coordinate hotfixes if needed, and facilitate Post-Implementation Reviews.
• Ensure all release-related documentation meets compliance and audit standards.

Requirements:

• Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Strong understanding of release processes in complex environments
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimize workflows
