Job Role:

Corporate Credit Analyst

The role involves managing a portfolio of corporate clients, undertaking objective detailed due diligence of borrowers and industry.

Key responsibilities include performing forward-looking fundamental credit analysis, supporting ad-hoc requests and periodic reviews, and managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings.

  • Managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the bank's credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their Global Capability Centre), asset manager, or rating agency environment.
  • There should be an emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event, or a strong motivation to move into a more transaction-driven environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or their equivalents).

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be preferred/beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
