Manual Quality Assurance Specialist

A high-caliber Manual Quality Assurance Specialist is needed to guarantee the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining test cases, executing manual tests, and documenting results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on product specifications.
  • Perform manual testing for web, mobile, or desktop applications to identify defects and usability issues.
  • Validate application functionality aligning with business requirements and user expectations.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Document and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla providing detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation including test cases, results, and defect logs.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
