Commerce Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced economics instructor to join our faculty team. As a Jr. Lecturer Theory Subject Commerce, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction and creating engaging lesson plans that foster active participation and critical thinking among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive curricula for economics courses, aligned with IGNOU university standards.
• Design and deliver quality instruction that effectively communicates complex economic concepts to students.
• Utilize assessment tools and techniques to measure student understanding and progress throughout the semester.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
• Integrate technology and real-world examples into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Maintain accurate records of academic performance, attendance, and other relevant data to inform teaching strategies and improve student outcomes.
• Analyze reports to assess the effectiveness of academic programs and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Economics (M.Com/MA) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience in a similar field.
• Strong subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, basic computer literacy, classroom management, and English language proficiency.
