Red Hat OpenShift Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Red Hat OpenShift expert to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Cluster Management: Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Perform regular upgrades and patching of OCP environments. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of OCP clusters.

Project Management: Responsible for the complete end-to-end project management, installation, re-installation, configuration, re-configuration, implementation, integration, monitoring, patch management, VA/PT closure, and troubleshooting.

Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L3 support for incidents and problems related to OpenShift. Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with other teams to resolve platform-related issues.

Performance & Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters. Implement best practices for resource allocation and management. Conduct capacity planning and scaling of OCP environments.

Security & Compliance: Implement security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Manage access controls and authentication mechanisms.

Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments. Utilize tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for automation. Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed.

Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes. Provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members. Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical and Professional Expertise: 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations. 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Understanding of network configurations, load balancing, and firewall management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
