Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves monitoring and detecting security threats within an organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain proficiency in the Schellman Methodology and its applications.
  • Guide associates and peers on security best practices.
  • Obtain certifications relevant to the field, such as ISO 27001 LA, CISA, or AWS CCP.
  • Succeed in managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Principal Service Commitments and System Requirements.
  • Distinguish between SOC 1 and SOC 2 services.
  • Participate in project teams as a shadow or assessor for various attestation offerings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong working knowledge of Schellman's services, methodology, and relevant professional standards.
  • Proficiency in applicable technology and security domains.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
