AWS Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled cloud security expert to lead end-to-end security audits and compliance initiatives. This role ensures secure systems, applications, and business operations align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments for new clients to identify potential security risks.
  • Analyse cloud infrastructure security questionnaires to ensure alignment with our security standards.
  • Map customer security requirements to our internal controls to maintain a robust security posture.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for commonly requested assessment artifacts.
  • Manage security questionnaires from clients, vendors, and partners to ensure timely responses.
  • Evaluate vendor security by reviewing their responses to our security questionnaires.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks within our IT infrastructure to maintain a secure environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-leading security standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement internal security policies and procedures to enhance our security posture.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security assessments to inform business decisions.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve security measures and prevent potential security breaches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in audit/compliance, application security, AWS cloud security, preferably in the BFSI domain.
  • Strong exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure and security features.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with VRA templates and cloud security checklists.
  • Knowledge of information security standards and data protection methods.
