Industry leader Honeywell seeks experienced Advanced Hardware Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge electronic systems.   • This role requires exceptional Electronic Systems design skills, including electronics troubleshooting and testing.
  • A strong foundation in high-speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and micro-controller circuit designs is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of analog and digital circuits, as well as experience with power over line communications and fault detection.
  • Solid estimating and planning skills are necessary to manage hardware design tasks and identify risks.
  • Proficiency in creating, interpreting, and reviewing electrical schematics is also required.
  • Candidates should be familiar with SPI, I2C, USB, 232/485 Serial, and Ethernet interface designs.
  • Experience with PCB materials, fabrication processes, and assembly/manufacturing is crucial.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, variac load resistors, AC/DC supplies, and experience using PCB CAD and circuit simulators like Mentor Graphics, SPICE, PSPICE, and HSPICE is essential.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with software and firmware teams.
  • Self-motivation and a strong multi-disciplinary background are also highly valued.
