Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis, providing timely and accurate results.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure tax compliance through collaboration with senior advisors, utilizing strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/ASPE/GAAP).
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare working paper packages for financial statements, showcasing expertise in data analysis and presentation.
  • Client Onboarding: Proven experience in onboarding Canadian clients, ensuring a smooth transition into our accounting systems and processes.
  • Data Management: Conduct data entry tasks as needed, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare corporate tax returns and related documentation, demonstrating a strong grasp of taxation and compliance.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll tasks, including client onboarding, payroll processing, and communication with clients via email and phone.

Preferred Tools & Software Proficiency:

  • QuickBooks Online experience is preferred.
  • Xero and any online cloud accounting software will be an added advantage.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Excel is mandatory.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g., B. Com, M. Com, CAs).
  • Inter CAs looking for employment or those who have completed articleship.

Requirements:

  • Approx. 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably with Canadian accounting firms.
  • Candidates who have worked in night shifts previously from India are encouraged to apply.
  • Reliable internet connection, laptop, and a suitable home office environment.
  • Willingness to work a complete night shift during winters.
