Project Planning Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Planning Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying potential bottlenecks to recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules that ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and logistics teams to align schedules and ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Analyze critical paths, key milestones, and potential bottlenecks; recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Track project progress against timelines and prepare regular reports.
  • Capture accurate planning inputs from clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Forecast resource requirements (material, labor, equipment) and ensure proper allocation.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and resource leveling as required.
  • Utilize project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, ERP, Excel) to maintain accurate schedules and reporting dashboards.
  • Provide input for risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all planning activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project planning, preferably in the construction or elevator/escalator industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with elevator/escalator installation workflows is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
