Job Title: Network Team Lead - Technical Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Network Team Lead to join our organization.

Role Overview:

This is a technical leadership role that requires a strong background in data center networking, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloud Network Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Architecting and designing equipment needed to provide Cloud Network Infrastructure.
  2. Ensuring high availability, flexibility, and network performance, and maintaining SLA.
  3. Maintaining infrastructure documentation, auditing, reviewing, and updating as needed.
  4. Collaborating with the team and clients on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. Leading a team of Network Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise where required.
  6. Proactively monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact.
  7. Preparing and delivering technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.

Requirements:

This is a technically demanding role with 80% technical and 20% managerial capabilities. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience and hands-on technical expertise, as well as a keen eye on compliance with business SLAs and goals.

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless.
  • Familiarity with WAN & Routing technologies (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies)
  • Familiarity with Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q)
  • Good knowledge of SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience on any one of the SDN provider – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco etc.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual who can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
