Job Description:

As a system administrator, you will be responsible for the optimal performance and uptime of the Windchill PLM system.

Your responsibilities will include performing upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed; configuring and customizing Windchill according to business requirements; managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings; providing technical support and training to end-users; monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues promptly; collaborating with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems; and developing and maintaining documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures.

In addition, you will participate in PLM projects, contributing to the planning, design, and execution phases. To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role.

Key qualifications include strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities; experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration; proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL; familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles; experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS; proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
