Job Title: Dam Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dam Design Specialist to fill this challenging position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert input on dam design and safety, including reviewing technical bid documents and providing need-based design of major rehabilitation components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the nodal expert for all design review matters after DTL and TL.
  • Review submitted PSTs, focusing on design aspects and basic layout plans.
  • Assess and finalize the preliminary design of rehabilitation works for PSTs before submission to stakeholders.
  • Review technical bid documents, bill of quantities, and technical specifications for rehabilitation activities.
  • Provide expert input for physical modelling of significant structural interventions.
  • Participate in CS&QA activities on behalf of stakeholders as a third-party CS&QA representative.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in dam design and safety.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing rehabilitation works for dams.
  • Strong understanding of dam safety regulations and guidelines.
