Expert Data Migration Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled individual to lead data migration activities for large-scale ERP projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data migration strategies that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Drive migration activities for deployment projects.
  • Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects.
  • Manage DMW load file preparation and perform initial verification.
  • Execute DVT scripts and support defect/hypercare incident resolution for assigned data objects.
  • Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to GDMEs as needed.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience, with strong data migration expertise.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS.
  • Strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization.
  • Strategic and hands-on mindset with experience running meetings, tracking progress, and managing issues.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages preferred).
Preferred Experience:
  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments.
  • Prior experience leading data migration in large ERP programs.
