Job Overview

The ideal candidate will design and implement data models, integrating systems, and developing reporting solutions using Snowflake as the data source.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop data mapping specifications and transformation rules to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Cleanse, validate, and reconcile data to maintain its accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement data conversion scripts and processes to streamline data migration.
  • Document data models, mappings, and migration procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Configure integrations between Workday and third-party applications to enhance data exchange.
  • Develop integration specifications and technical designs to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor integration performance and optimize it to improve efficiency.
  • Design and implement Snowflake data models optimized for HR analytics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Create and maintain Snowflake objects (tables, views, stored procedures) to support data querying and analysis.
  • Develop SQL transformations within Snowflake for reporting requirements to provide actionable insights.
  • Configure Workday modules according to design specifications to streamline data processing.
  • Build and maintain business processes, security configurations, and reports to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Develop custom calculations, rules, and business logic to automate data-driven decisions.
  • Create and maintain configuration workbooks and technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in system testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing, to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop reporting solutions using Snowflake as the data source to provide timely and accurate information.
  • Create data visualization dashboards connected to Snowflake to enable data-driven storytelling.
  • Build self-service reporting capabilities for HR and business users to empower data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and implement metrics and KPIs for HR analytics to track progress and measure success.
  • Support data analysis needs throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in HRIS implementation, data management, or system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday/Greenhouse data conversion, integration, or reporting for at least 2 years.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms to leverage scalable and secure data storage.
  • Understanding of architecting or working with ELT technologies (such as DBT) and data architectures to design efficient data pipelines.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data transformation tools to extract insights from complex data sets.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data validation techniques to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, etc.) to automate data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools to create interactive and informative dashboards.
  • Understanding of API integration patterns and technologies to integrate disparate systems.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies to ensure iterative and incremental delivery of high-quality solutions.
