**Job Title:** Lead Automation Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our Core Platform Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in system development by understanding overall architecture and workflows required to formulate test strategies specifically on Packaged Business Capabilities (PBCs).

This role will work with all levels of business, ensuring deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results, and coordinate the work of project teams along multiple workstreams like data partners, integrated system, external vendors, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project teams across multiple workstreams to ensure seamless collaboration and streamlined workflows.
  • Analyze data to verify results, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance test automation suites.
  • Craft automated tests to meet speed to market goals while ensuring quality.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automated tests and supporting artifacts to execute automatically in CI/CD pipelines, reducing cycle time.
  • Elevate risk and issues promptly to enable effective planning and communication with stakeholders.
  • Embracing manual hands-on and exploratory testing whenever circumstances demand it.
  • Responsible for identifying, documenting, and resolving defects through meticulous reporting and tracking.
  • Adhere to Quality Engineering best practices while driving changes to testing practices where necessary.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of total IT Industry experience.
  • A proven track record of 5+ years in successfully testing.
  • Proficient in conducting thorough business requirements analysis, designing efficient test automation suites, and diligently logging and tracking defects throughout the testing process.
  • Expertise in applying agile methodologies and principles to software testing, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing test management tools like Jira to effectively plan, track, and manage testing activities.
  • A strong foundation and practical experience in programming languages, particularly JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Proven experience in automating Web UI and API testing using Cypress/Protractor/Playwright/TestCafe/Puppeteer.
  • Good experience in Mobile Automation using WebdriverIO across various mobile testing platforms and devices.
  • Experience with SQL and database/backend testing.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge.
  • Mobile Automation experience.
  • Knowledge in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
  • Exposure to AWS services like DynamoDB, S3 Buckets, Lambdas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated, and a quick learner.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
