Job Title: Financial Systems Expert

This role requires an expert in financial systems, specifically NetSuite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes and be able to lead or participate in projects related to R2R, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for NetSuite functionality in R2R processes, maintaining workflows, configurations, and data integrity to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead or participate in R2R-related projects, including implementations, migrations, process improvements, customizations, upgrades, and integrations with NetSuite's financial modules.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes by ensuring timely reconciliations, reporting, general ledger accuracy, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Partner with finance, IT, and external vendors to provide NetSuite support, resolve issues, streamline processes, evaluate automation opportunities, and deliver user training.
  • Monitor audit trails, support audit processes, generate required reports, and ensure system configurations align with audit and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle Fusion Cloud/SAP, and a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS. Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, general ledger management, financial reporting, and NetSuite customizations.
  • Expertise in key R2R processes, including journal entries, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, multi-currency accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle Fusion Cloud/SAP, and integration tools like Celigo or similar middleware platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, with over 8 years of technology experience, including 6+ years of hands-on NetSuite expertise in R2R, accounting, or finance roles.
