Job Summary

The Assistant Vice President – SOC and Cyber Security Awareness is a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation's cybersecurity posture.

As Assistant Vice President (AVP) – SOC & Cybersecurity Awareness, you will oversee Security Operations Centre activities, drive continuous improvement in threat detection and incident response, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance cybersecurity awareness across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SOC operations align with regulatory standards, audit requirements, and industry best practices.

The Role Includes:

  • Developing a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program tailored to various internal audiences.
  • Designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SOC operations while continuously refining processes.
  • Aligning awareness efforts with global security frameworks and organisational security strategy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating engaging security-related content, localising it for cultural relevance, and developing role-based security training.
  • Monitoring training completion rates and effectiveness using data analytics.
  • Ensuring SOC operations remain compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks by proactively updating internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Leading security audits and communicating findings and remediation strategies to stakeholders.
  • Partnering with business units to embed cyber risk awareness into business-as-usual processes and building a network of security champions or ambassadors.
