Job Title: Blaze Developer Specialist

Job Summary:
This role requires a skilled Blaze Developer to create, update and manage rule flow, write rules and functions in low-level SRL, develop rules with templates and providers, and validate rules against the object model and data model. The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of FICO Blaze Advisor 7 versions, excellent troubleshooting skills, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update rule flow
- Write rules and functions in low-level SRL (Structured Rules Language)
- Develop rules with templates and providers
- Create and manage test cases to test the rule logic
- Meet business rules specifications
- Validate rules against the object model and data model

Requirements:
- Proficient in FICO Blaze Advisor 7 versions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 6 years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Blaze Developer
- Experience with common industry patterns, coding standards, and best practices

Bonus Qualifications:
- Good understanding of the healthcare payer space
- Prior experience in implementing and maintaining commercial payer solutions and/or Medicaid systems
- MMIS experience and knowledge of claims processing and adjudication concepts, including member enrollment and care management
