  1. Job Summary: Bechtel seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for our projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering, specifically in FEED, proposal, and detailed engineering for manufacturing units, data centers, and buildings.
  2. Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and review key engineering drawings and calculations, and design documents.
    • Prepare and oversee discipline estimates and work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Coordinate electrical engineering efforts with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, contractors, and construction teams.
    • Maintain contact with client representatives, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure coordination and compliance with Bechtel/client requirements.
    • Supervise the day-to-day technical work of discipline engineers, specialists, designers, and drafters.
  3. Requirements:
    • A recognized degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
    • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, with site experience being an added advantage.
  4. Desired Skills:
    • Knowledge of main single-line diagrams, protection and metering diagrams, relay setting and protection coordination, UPS sizing, cable sizing, and grounding.
    • ETAP software proficiency for electrical system studies, including short circuit, load flow, and motor starting.
    • Experience with equipment sizing, specifications, MR preparation, technical bid evaluation, and vendor print reviews of various electrical equipment.
    • Familiarity with electrical systems related to equipment like HVAC, chilled water systems, condenser water systems, pump controls, glycol systems, and building power management.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
