Automation Specialist Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python, YAML and JSON to streamline network infrastructure management processes.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with tools like OpenConfig, gNMI, Git, Jenkins/GitLab and Linux to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline execution.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in network infrastructure with a focus on automation, SDLC delivery and security controls is required.
  • Knowledge of VXLAN, BGP, EVPN and Arista switches, including CloudVision Portal (CVP), is essential.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration and project management.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a global team, prioritizing tasks and adapting to project scope changes, is also required.
