Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Associate Director to lead our Valuation Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for complex financial instruments (CFI) valuation, focusing on diverse projects that require expertise in financial analysis, business and financial modeling, forecasting, and valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain effective sales and marketing processes in the Valuation practice area, fostering strong relationships with centers of influence and professionals.
  • Client Management: Effectively manage overall client relationships to exceed client satisfaction, leveraging your skills in communication and relationship-building.
  • Financial Management: Manage fundamentals such as realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute thought leadership in practice areas, providing primary advisory services to clients and driving business growth.
  • Talent Development: Manage and train CFI valuation professionals, nurturing their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Math, Financial Mathematics, or related area of study) preferred; MBA or other Master's a plus.
  • Certifications: ABV/CPA, ASA, or CFA certifications.
  • Experience: Proven experience valuing complex financial instruments and using tools like Option Pricing Models, Monte Carlo, and Binomial Models.
  • Skills: Proficiency in coding languages such as MatLab, R, and experience with Bloomberg.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong practice development and management skills, including marketing and thought leadership.
