Overview of the Role
- A seasoned security leader is required to oversee the efficient operation and performance of a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- The SOC leader will be responsible for ensuring effective threat monitoring, detection, and response for multiple client organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Security Operations Center, overseeing the efforts of L1, L2, and L3 analysts to ensure timely incident detection, investigation, and response.
- Continuously improve SOC processes with a focus on enhancing threat detection, incident response times, and automation capabilities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client security incidents, providing guidance and managing reporting, incident resolution, and improvement strategies.
- Monitor and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met consistently, delivering exceptional, timely security services to clients.
- Present regular client reports on incident analysis, threat trends, and operational performance.
- Develop and execute incident response plans to mitigate threats and minimize impact on clients.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the SOC.
- Drive the development of security policies, procedures, and incident response frameworks to ensure best practices and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience in a security operations center or similar environment.
- Proven track record of improving SOC processes and enhancing threat detection and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
