Cloud Security Specialist

This role involves administering and supporting cloud security solutions for designated client environments.

The position focuses on policy administration, system monitoring, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant connectivity.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating security policies, monitoring dashboards for alerts and anomalies, providing user support, and documenting configuration records and troubleshooting guides.

Additionally, this role involves participating in client meetings, communicating technical updates and policy changes, and liaising with client IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth operation and integration of cloud security solutions.

Required skills and qualifications include a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, minimum 4 years of experience in IT security administration, and hands-on experience managing cloud-based platforms.

Familiarity with ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX configuration and management is essential, as well as understanding of networking fundamentals and knowledge of identity provisioning and work experience in the same.

Knowledge of SIEM tools and endpoint protection platforms is also beneficial, and certifications such as Zscaler certifications are preferred but not required.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update cloud security policies and access controls to ensure alignment with organizational standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Continuously monitor cloud security dashboards for alerts, anomalies, and performance metrics.
  • Provide user support for cloud-related issues and collaborate with IT teams to resolve connectivity, access, and policy-related problems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including configuration records, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams, and change logs.
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate technical updates, policy changes, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Support client compliance initiatives by ensuring cloud security configurations align with regulatory frameworks.
  • Stay informed about cloud security product updates and coordinate implementation of new features or integrations.
