Electronically enabled business partnerships are crucial to our organization's success. As an EDI Sterling Consultant, you will play a vital role in integrating electronic data interchange solutions with IBM Sterling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and Maintain EDI Solutions: Collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure seamless integration with business partners through IBM Sterling.
  • Integrate EDI with Order Management Systems: Work closely with teams to optimize order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment by leveraging EDI capabilities.
  • Manage EDI Mapping and Communication: Support trading partners through onboarding, testing, and maintenance of EDI connections, providing effective communication and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Resolve EDI-Related Issues: Monitor transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures, applying analytical skills to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is necessary for this position.
  • Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway is required.
  • Knowledge of EDI Standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and industry-specific transaction sets is essential.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills are required to succeed in this role.
