SAP Cloud Architect Advisory Role

This position involves working as a technical architect to plan and design SAP landscapes for customers. The selected candidate will perform similar responsibilities, guiding customers about their landscape on the SAP RISE platform.

  • The role requires collaborating closely with SAP sales and account executives to understand customer requirements and create to-be landscape architecture.
  • The CAA team member is responsible for discussing landscape architecture with customer leaders and technical teams, explaining setup processes, dependencies, and more.
  • This is a customer-facing role that requires attending meetings, answering technical queries, and presenting assessments.
  • The architect does not have hands-on work but focuses on providing technical guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Technical Architect, key roles include:

  • Bill Of Material Review & Analysis: Reviewing the technical accuracy of the Bill Of Material to ensure no obsolete product versions are selected for the SAP RISE platform.
  • Providing Feedback to Sales Teams: Confirming the availability of selected products and versions for building.
  • Technical Validation of Customer Landscape: Validating product version build viability and analyzing Early Watch Reports & Technical Data for hardware selection and sizing.
  • Working with Sales Teams on Architecture: Collaborating on architecture, landscape, and to-be designs, and sizing the to-be landscape for migrations.
  • Customer Deal Support: Preparing technical assessments, conducting workshops, and providing turnover to delivery teams during sales cycles.
Required Skills and Qualifications

6+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in SAP Basis, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and migration/upgrades. Proficiency in any cloud service (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and strong communication skills.
