Job Opportunity: A Remote Cloud Infrastructure Position

A highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer is required to work with a Singapore-based client on an offshore project.

The working hours and public holidays will follow the Singapore schedule.

This is a 1-year renewable contract position, providing ample opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot AWS Technologies, ECS, and EKS
  • Operate systems such as AWS Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Maintain, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Resolve IT infrastructure issues promptly and effectively.
  • Proactively handle project implementation and support, ensuring seamless delivery and deployment.
  • Create high-quality technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Support out-of-hours work if required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • On-board new cloud technologies and challenge existing implementations, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Engage in cloud security activities to ensure the highest levels of data protection and compliance.
  • Comply with ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily IT operations, maintaining industry-standard best practices.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification, demonstrating expertise in cloud architecture and management.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud or a related field, showcasing a strong track record of achievement.
  • Be familiar with cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Detective, ensuring robust security measures are in place.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer), or equivalent, meeting the minimum educational requirements for the role.
