Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based web applications using Python, Django, or Flask, in alignment with Jobsmart HR Solutions' technology standards.

- Implement data processing tasks using Pandas or Numpy, ensuring efficient data manipulation and analysis.

- Develop and deploy cloud applications using AWS services, including but not limited to EKS, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, RDS, Aurora, SNS, SQS, Lambda, and S3, following security best practices and ensuring compliance with company policies.

- Set up and manage AWS infrastructure components like VPC, API Gateway, ELB, and DynamoDB, maintaining optimal performance and minimizing costs.

- Utilize AWS tools such as CDK, Code Deploy, and Step Functions for automated deployment and orchestration, ensuring seamless integration with the development pipeline.

- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate EventBridge, Kinesis, and other AWS services into the development pipeline, promoting collaboration and innovation.

- Ensure security best practices are followed in the deployment and management of cloud services, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Django or Flask frameworks, and a solid understanding of software development principles.

- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Pandas or Numpy, with experience in working with large datasets.

- Extensive experience with AWS services, including EKS, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, RDS, Aurora, SNS, SQS, Lambda, and others, with a focus on cloud-based application development and deployment.

- Experience with AWS infrastructure management (VPC, ELB, API Gateway), with a deep understanding of cloud security and compliance.

- Knowledge of deployment automation tools like AWS CDK, Code Deploy, and experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools like Kibana.

- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications, with a strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
