Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Mainframe Tester. As a mainframe test engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of mainframe systems using JCL, COBOL, SQL, and other tools.
  • Develop and execute test cases using automation frameworks such as Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber with Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Analyze and report test results, including defect identification and tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on testing progress and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, including CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mainframe testing, including experience with JCL, COBOL, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and banking industry concepts.
