Job Description

As a regional cybersecurity officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity of one or several countries or regions. This includes acting as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity-related matters, managing sites cybersecurity officers, and deploying the Valeo ISSP (Information Systems Security Policy) within the region.

The role also involves coordinating cybersecurity incidents in the region, providing reporting to the group, and contributing to the evolution of the Valeo ISSP and other group cybersecurity programs. You will work closely with sites cybersecurity officers to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Additionally, you will participate in external security assessments, manage training programs for sites cybersecurity officers, and define and follow improvement plans to enhance the overall level of cybersecurity in the region.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Above 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
  • Worked in an international company in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge and experience linked to cybersecurity standards (ISO 2700x, NIST, NIS…)
  • Knowledge and experience in technical topics such as malware, patch management, firewalling…
  • Other infrastructure/network/system/database/application experience
  • Team management experience

You will also be involved in shaping the cybersecurity strategy for the region, working closely with sites cybersecurity officers to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to protect against cyber threats.

In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring swift resolution of cybersecurity incidents, participating in risk assessments, and providing regular reporting to the Continental IS Director(s). Additionally, you may be required to act as a delegate for the Group CISO on specific missions and projects.
