Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Discrete Event Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing simulation models that analyze and optimize various operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement discrete event simulation models to analyze complex systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate model representation.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different variables on system performance.
- Prepare detailed documentation of simulation models and results for stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in simulation modelling, preferably using Any Logic or other digital twin / simulation software.
- Strong programming skills in Java, as Any Logic is based on Java.
- Familiarity with agent-based, discrete-event, and system dynamics modelling approaches.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data processing techniques.
