Windchill Administrator

Responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of Windchill systems to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and seamless integration with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Upgrades and Maintenance: Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed to keep Windchill up-to-date.
  • Customization and Configuration: Configure and customize Windchill according to business requirements for optimal performance.
  • User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to maintain a secure environment.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users on Windchill functionalities and best practices.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems. Develop and maintain documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures. Implement best practices for data management and system security.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, and 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities is required.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and SQL is essential, as well as experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS. Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting is also necessary.
