Job Title: Tax Data Analyst

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Data Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tax requirements with customers to understand their data and reporting needs.
  • Examine tax data in the database to identify transformation and reporting issues, both current and proposed system tools.
  • Develop detailed specifications for each report, including technical specifications and a summary.
  • Create and edit Alteryx workflows to automate tax data manipulation and generate outputs based on requirements.
  • Design dynamic reports that enable end users to filter and aggregate defined parameters according to their needs, as well as custom reports.
  • Establish report subscriptions, dashboards, and other related features.
  • Proactively identify and communicate dependencies, issues, risks, and barriers to completing assignments, escalating to appropriate project stakeholders and supervisors when necessary.
  • Analyze how workflow decisions translate into report requirements; execute solution designs as communicated by project engagement leaders.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of tax data and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Alteryx and other relevant software tools.
