Publishing Coordinator Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end publishing process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, authors, designers, and vendors to meet publishing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Publishing Workflows: From manuscript submission to final production, our Publishing Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the publishing process.
  • Collaborate with Editorial Teams: Collaborate closely with editorial teams, authors, designers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of publishing timelines.
  • Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks on content, layouts, and design before release to maintain the highest standards of publishing excellence.
  • Content Preparation: Assist in preparing content for digital and print distribution, adhering to established publishing standards.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor project progress, maintain databases, and update status reports for ongoing publishing projects.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies to recommend improvements in publishing processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Handle correspondence with authors and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship.
