About this role:

We're seeking an experienced Mainframe Tester to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing life cycle processes, including test case creation, data preparation, and execution.

They will also possess good knowledge of editing JCL, creating JCL to submit test batch jobs, and awareness of TSO/ISPF commands in Mainframe.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Creation of Test Strategy/Test plan document
  • Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios/design test cases
  • Prepare test data/test JCL according to test scenarios
  • Execute test cases by submitting jobs and analyzing results
  • Report issues and coordinate with development/support team for fixing errors
  • Participate in capability building and upskilling programs
