Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic technology leader to deliver strategic goals for the Amazon marketplace. You will be responsible for owning area(s) as a single threaded leader with all tech roles reporting into you. You will either build new system capabilities grounds up or enhance the guts of the global consumer stack for launching strategic business initiatives to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic goals for the Amazon marketplace
- Lead teams of software engineers
- Build new system capabilities or enhance existing systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in engineering team management
- 7+ years of experience in engineering
- 8+ years of experience in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting systems
- Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership
- Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing teams of software engineers
