Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the development of high-performance power electronic systems.

This role involves overseeing the conception, design, and testing of these systems for various applications, including Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and renewable energy initiatives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team comprising electronics/electrical engineers, embedded software/hardware developers, and test engineers.
  • Define and execute R&D strategies to develop products meeting application requirements and specifications, with a focus on achieving UL certification.
  • Develop a manufacturing roadmap to support product execution, ensuring timely delivery of prototypes, validation, and product transfer to manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to ensure product feasibility, manufacturability, and quality standards are met.
  • Project Management: Manage R&D project portfolios, allocating resources, setting timelines, and mitigating risks.
  • Oversee design, development, and testing of power electronic circuits, converters, inverters, controls, software, and integrated systems.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, driving research and development in power electronics.
Key Qualifications

We seek an experienced professional with a strong background in power-electronics selection and layout for Thyristors, IGBT, and SiC-MOSFET-based switching devices and circuits. Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques is desired.

  • Technical Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and system integration.
  • Strong working knowledge of leadership principles, project management methodologies, and team-building strategies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, particularly UL certification requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to drive innovation, think critically, and solve complex problems.
