Technical Drafter Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional team as a Technical Drafter. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Drafting, and Technical Drawing software
  • Strong understanding of Engineering principles and Architectural design concepts
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed technical drawings and plans from engineer-provided specifications
  • Revising plans based on feedback from colleagues and supervisors
  • Conducting site visits as needed to gather information for drawings
  • Maintaining and updating project files to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Participating in project meetings to provide drafting support and expertise

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field of study
  • Landscape experience preferred but not required
