SONiC Automation Test Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled SONiC automation test engineer to contribute to our organization's success. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of independent software quality assurance and testing services globally.

This role involves building and validating test strategies for SONiC builds, ensuring robust performance across routing, switching, and platform-level features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated tests using PyTest and other testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex platform anomalies and issues.
  • Maintain and improve existing test automation infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in network testing and automation.
  • Strong expertise in SONiC fundamentals and test architecture design.
  • Hands-on experience with setting up SONiC servers and builds.
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2 and 3 protocols.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting ASIC/Syncd failures and Redis database anomalies.
  • Familiarity with PTF and SpyTest for network validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NCIA, JNCIS certifications (Juniper) or equivalent.
  • Experience in large-scale Data Center environments and SONiC production deployments.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
