We're seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves developing automated scripts in Python, creating synthetic test data, and ensuring high-quality data delivery in CI/CD environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create automated scripts in Python to generate a golden model within SQL Server for test automation.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Analyze data defects and inconsistencies, documenting and tracking them effectively.
  • Contribute to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Test Automation, particularly with data validation and transformation logic.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including frameworks such as YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, DoppelGANger.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Mandatory: Experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with MS SQL Server.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Priority Skills:

  1. Test Automation with focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  2. Relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  3. Python-based synthetic data frameworks.
  4. GE Plant Applications experience.

Note:Candidates must be able to articulate their experience with SQL tables in GE Plant Applications during interviews.
