About the Role

We're seeking a talented software engineer to build and lead the development of our battlefield AI vision platform. You'll be responsible for creating the entire software ecosystem that transforms cutting-edge military object detection models into a production-ready, scalable platform processing satellite imagery and delivering actionable intelligence.

This is a high-velocity, AI-native role where you'll leverage the latest AI development tools to build at unprecedented speed while maintaining enterprise-grade quality and security standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create the Image Processing Pipeline: Automated systems for satellite image ingestion, preprocessing, and patch generation
  • Develop the AI Model Integration Layer: Seamless integration of object detection and classification models
  • Design Quality Control Systems: Automated validation and human-in-the-loop review workflows
  • Built the Data Management Platform: Robust database systems for storing, indexing, and retrieving intelligence data
  • Build the End-User Interface: Intuitive platforms for intelligence dissemination and visualization
  • Implement Scalable Infrastructure: Cloud-native architecture handling large-scale data processing
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML system integration
  • A proven track record of leading technical teams (2-10 developers)
  • Experience shipping production ML/AI systems at scale
Technical Expertise

You'll need:

  • Expert-level proficiency in leveraging AI coding tools
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI assistants for rapid prototyping, code generation, and debugging
  • Experience with AI-powered testing, documentation, and deployment tools
  • Track record of delivering projects 2-3x faster than traditional development approaches
Core Technical Skills

You'll need strong skills in:

  • Backend Development: Python, Node.js, or Go for high-performance systems
  • Computer Vision Integration: Experience with OpenCV, PIL, and ML model deployment
  • Database Systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar for geospatial and metadata storage
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure with container orchestration
  • API Development: RESTful and GraphQL APIs for system integration
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring systems
