Job Title: Mainframe Developer

A day in the life of an Infoscion involves working with a skilled team to design, develop, and validate complex systems.


You will be responsible for gathering requirements and specifications, understanding client needs, and translating them into system requirements. Additionally, you will play a key role in estimating work requirements, providing accurate information to Technology Leads and Project Managers, and contributing to the development of efficient programs and systems.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing complex programs
  • Translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements
  • Writing test cases and scenarios based on specifications
  • Understanding performance engineering, quality processes, and estimation techniques
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals


Technical skills required include:

  • Mainframe technologies (ALL)
  • COBOL programming language
  • JCL programming language


Education Requirements:

MCA, Master of Computer Science, Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Engineering
