Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing solutions.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Karate API testing framework, as well as knowledge of Selenium and Appium.
  • Experience in API automation, data-driven testing, and BDD (Gherkin syntax) is essential.
  • Good programming skills in Java are required.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle, version control (Git), CI/CD, and defect management tools (JIRA, Jenkins) is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Karate API testing framework.
  • Automation Framework: Develop and maintain the automation framework using Karate, Selenium, and/or Appium.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality test cases, automate testing processes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile Development: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices.
  • BFSI Domain: Knowledge of the BFSI domain, specifically corporate banking.
