We are seeking a Data Engineer with 6-9 years of experience in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, or Bangalore.
As a Data Engineer at KSmart Staffing Solutions, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, organizing, storing, and analyzing data and data systems using Python and Snowflake on the AWS cloud platform.
About this Role- You will lead cloud migrations for data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and quality assurance for AWS and Snowflake solutions.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to identify and implement the most effective cloud-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix problems, document solutions, and implement preventive measures.
Key Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in developing, overseeing, organizing, storing, and analyzing data and data systems.
- Experience in cloud migrations using AWS and Snowflake.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming with ETL concepts.
- Good understanding of metadata and data lineage.
- Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and performance engineering.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo.
Soft Skills:
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
