**Job Title:** Tax Professional
**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to lead our direct tax practice, encompassing domestic tax compliance, international taxation, and transfer pricing.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, leadership skills, and experience dealing with high-value and complex tax matters.
**Responsibilities:
- Direct Tax Compliance & Advisory: Review and manage income tax returns for individuals, corporates, and partnerships. Provide tax planning and structuring advice under the Income Tax Act. Analyze implications of amendments and case laws. Handle tax audits, TDS reviews, and advance tax computations.
- International Tax & Transfer Pricing: Handle Form 15CA/CB, foreign remittances, and FEMA-tax overlap. Research on cross-border transactions & DTAA.
- Litigation & Representation: Draft replies to notices, scrutiny assessments, and appeals.
- Practice Management & Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals. Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Support business development and client relationship management.
**Requirements:** A good understanding of the Indian Income Tax Act, strong analytical, drafting, and research skills, leadership and team-building capabilities, excellent communication and client-handling skills. Proficient with IT portals, TDS utilities, and accounting software.
**Preferred Background:** Prior experience with CA firms or consulting companies. Experience in working with startups, MNCs, and promoter-driven companies.
