Job Overview

The role of a Debt Fund Raiser involves raising debt capital from various financial institutions, including banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in structuring debt transactions, negotiating loan terms, and ensuring optimal funding costs. They will be responsible for driving the process of raising debt capital, building and managing relationships with lenders, rating agencies, and investors to secure funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the process of raising debt capital from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
  • Building and managing relationships with lenders, rating agencies, and investors
  • Structuring debt transactions and negotiating loan terms
  • Ensuring optimal funding costs and adherence to RBI/NBFC regulations
  • Developing funding strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management
  • Working closely with other teams to assess funding risks and mitigate exposure

Requirements:

  • Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines
  • Solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation
  • Ability to negotiate effectively, create complex financial models, and manage stakeholders efficiently
  • Strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players
