Key Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring work queues and performing operational tasks to resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner
  2. Providing second-level support to clients and identifying root causes of issues
  3. Communicating with other teams and clients to extend support and escalate issues when necessary
  4. Leading and managing initial client escalations for operational issues

You will also be responsible for contributing to the change management process, logging changes with complete details, and planning and executing approved maintenance activities.

  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups
  • Ability to plan activities and projects well in advance and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work well in a pressurized environment and maintain a positive outlook
  • Ability to apply active listening techniques and place clients at the forefront of all interactions
Preferred Skills

We prefer candidates with:

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate, Veeam Certified Engineer, VMware certified Professional: Data Centre Virtualization, and others
  • Experience with ticketing tools preferably Service Now and ITIL processes
  • Moderate level years of relevant managed services experience handling cross-technology infrastructure
