Senior Automation Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as a Senior Automation Engineer, where you will play a key role in the implementation and management of complex manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage automation systems, including installation, qualification, development, configuration, and maintenance
  • Support the definition of integration of various hardware and software components, troubleshoot, and manage re-work while testing
  • Develop and implement automation projects across the complete project delivery lifecycle, including SCADA, historian, and MES & related software
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define overall solution architecture (HW, SW, Network) and provide technical expertise in implementing upgrades and patching
  • Design electronic recipes, plan logical and operational workflows, define data input and output parameters, and analyze customization functions
  • Experience with Siemens Opcenter EXPH modules, such as User Management, PI Management, PI Process, PI Review, Weighing & dispensing, XSI console, Equipment Management, Material Flow management, Weigh & Dispense, and PI Assembly

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in implementing and managing complex manufacturing systems
  • Strong technical expertise in automation, SCADA, historian, and MES & related software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient level in Oracle DB, .NET, C#, VB, SQL, MS SSRS query building, and reporting template design

  • As a senior member of the team, you will provide guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance
